Expertise & Interests

Overview / specialty        I am a geologist with expertise on paleoenvironmental analysis and global changes. I use different geochemical (organic carbon, inorganic carbon, oxygen, strontium isotopes), paleontological (foraminifera), sedimentological, and chronological (paleontological and radiometric) proxies to reconstruct global changes.
I have been extensively working on Permian-Triassic and Paleocene-Eocene environmental deterioration and mass extinction.
I am also very interested in the recent global warming.
