Expertise & Interests

Overview / specialty        My primary research interests are natural hazards, (paleo)climatology, and climate change. I'm particularly interested in using multiproxy approaches to understand modern and prehistoric tropical cyclones, the influence of teleconnections/large-scale atmospheric/oceanic circulation, and how this relationship varies over multiple timescales (annual to millennial).
