The Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Florida (UF) invites applications for a tenure accruing position in the area of climate change at the Assistant Professor level.

The department is interested in candidates whose research focuses on interactions between and within the components of the climate system (the geosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere) as well as implications for those processes on past, present and/or future climate.

Applicants who will enhance existing geochemical facilities and build collaborations within the department and across UF are encouraged to apply.


The Search Committee will begin reviewing applications from 11 October 2019 and the search will remain open until filled.
